The Glenurquhart Centre is managed by Pam Poston from August 2018. She reports directly to the Glenurquhart Care Project as General Manager for all GCP service.

The Centre has about eight Day Care staff in August 2018, including a Day Care Co-ordinator, four care Support Workers and three Relief Carers . There are also  Administrators, a Cook, a General Assistant, one
Driver and a Relief Driver. All staff report directly to the Centre’s Manager.

The Glenurquhart Centre has a robust recruitment policy in place. This includes a selection process which includes taking up references, Enhanced Disclosure checks, cross referencing with registers of Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), Nursing and Midwifery Council or other professional organisations where appropriate. There is also a staff development and effective annual training plan in place for all staff.

Care Inspectorate
(previously Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland -SCSWIS) 

This is the new name for the former Care Commission who regulate and inspect Scottish Care Services. They exist to improve the quality of care services in Scotland and they believe an important way of achieving this is by listening to the views and concerns of service users. They carry out a formal inspection of the Glenurquhart Centre on an annual basis.
